About Iron Shift Co.

Iron Shift Co. started with one product and a simple idea:

Take real hockey sticks and turn them into something worth keeping around long after the game ends.

Right now, that product is The Enforcer. A handcrafted hockey stick bottle opener built from authentic sticks, each carrying its own wear, markings, tape residue, puck scars, and history. No two are exactly alike because the material itself already lived a different life before it reached our workbench.

What makes The Enforcer different isn’t just the build. It’s the idea behind it.

We’ve always felt hockey gear has more story in it than people give it credit for. Broken sticks usually end up in the trash. We wanted to turn them into something functional, collectible, and conversation-worthy instead. Something that still feels connected to the rink, the locker room, and the people who used it.

But Iron Shift Co. was never meant to stop at a bottle opener.

We’re building Iron Shift Co. around the idea that physical products can carry digital identity and connected experiences with them. Every Enforcer includes ShiftID QR integration, tying each piece to Stick Stories, player lore, collectibles, statistics, future challenges, team features, and evolving digital experiences. The bottle opener is the physical foundation, but the long-term vision extends far beyond a single product.

Our background in technology and systems design heavily shapes where this brand is going. We’re not just making hockey gear. We’re building connected hockey artifacts.

At the same time, we care deeply about craftsmanship and character. Every Enforcer is made in small batches using real hockey sticks with real history behind them. Scratches, chips, tape marks, and imperfections are not flaws to us. They’re part of the story.

Iron Shift Co. is built for beer leaguers, hockey lifers, rink rats, collectors, hockey dads, former players, and anyone who understands that the culture around hockey matters just as much as the game itself.

This is just the beginning.
